Backyard Tube Amps
Kemper profiles, from own circuits designs.
All profiles were made using: Focusrite ISA 428, AKG C-414 ,Electrovoice RE-20, Neumann TLM 103, Brauner VMX, SE Electronics RNR1 Ribbon
The first series of models, is inspired by the tone of vintage amps, but they have they own circuit design. Almost all amplifiers have a Ef86 pentode in the preamp, some of them have up to three Ef86, but all have a SE output stage. I highly recommanded low output pickups.
The amps have a dense and rich overtone sound, due the Class A outputstage. Especially any kind of singlecoils, harmonize with these amps, very well.
